Privacy

The short version: your vault is zero-knowledge encrypted, and we can't read it.

Draft policy · last updated 2 July 2026. This is a placeholder pending legal review before launch.

What we can't see

Your passwords, passkeys, notes and files are encrypted on your device before they ever reach us. Oscou stores only the encrypted result. We do not have your key, so we cannot read your vault, and we cannot hand its contents to anyone else.

What we do collect

  • Your account email, used to sign you in and send service messages.
  • Billing details, only if you subscribe to a paid Share or Teams plan, handled by our payment processor.
  • Basic, privacy-respecting product analytics to improve the app. Never the contents of your vault.

Sharing

When you share an item, it stays end-to-end encrypted. Only the people you choose can open it, and you can revoke access at any time.

Your rights

You can export your data, delete your account, and ask us what we hold about you at any time. Write to privacy@oscou.com.
