Terms of service
The plain-language version of the deal between you and Oscou.
Draft terms · last updated 2 July 2026. This is a placeholder pending legal review before launch.
Using Oscou
Oscou is a password and document manager. The single-user experience is free forever. You pay only when you choose to share with other people, and only the person who starts the sharing pays. People you share with use Oscou for free.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your master credentials safe. Because your vault is zero-knowledge encrypted, we cannot recover it for you if you lose your key.
- Use Oscou lawfully, and only share content you have the right to share.
Billing
Paid Share and Teams plans renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep full, free single-user access to everything you've stored.
Availability
We work hard to keep Oscou running, but we provide the service "as is." We'll give reasonable notice of material changes to these terms.
